| The Office of Catechesis supports the work of our parishes and schools in passing on our Catholic Faith and provides specialized formation for the religious education leaders and teachers of the Diocese of Toledo.
The work of our office can be divided into three key areas:
• Religion Certification
• Adult Faith Formation
• Lay Ministry Training
A primary instrument for carrying out this three-fold mission is the Mysterium Christi Diocesan Institute. Through this program we provide classes for Religion Certification for Catholic school principals and teachers, as well as parish catechetical leaders and catechists. Many of these classes are also open to anyone who wants to learn more about the Catholic Faith. We also provide training and advanced Religion Certification for parish catechetical leaders, high school religion teachers and those desiring to serve in lay ministry. |
