DIOCESE OF TOLEDO ANNOUNCES PERSONNEL APPPOINTMENTS

     Bishop Leonard Blair has made the following appointments to the Office of Dean

effective immediately, unless noted:

Reverend Monsignor Michael R. Billian, VG – Saint Agnes Deanery (effective September 1, 2011).
Very Reverend Jeffrey R. McBeth, VF – Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Deanery.
Very Reverend David L. Ritchie, VF – Saint Philomena Deanery.
Very Reverend Herbert F. Weber, VF – Saint Katharine Drexel Deanery.
 Reverend Jason J. Kahle has been appointed the Spiritual Director of the  Teens Encounter Christ (TEC) Program in the Diocese (effective July 19, 2011).
Deacon Floyd Hohman has been granted Senior Status (effective July 19, 2011).
Reverend John Raphael Hadnagy, OFM, Conv., as the Parochial Administrator of Transfiguration of the Lord Parish, Upper Sandusky, effective August 16, 2011.
Deacon James E. Dunn is granted Senior Status, effective August 9, 2011.

The following have been reappointed to the Office of Dean for five years:

Very Reverend Nelson G. Beaver, VF – Saint Juan Diego Deanery.
Very Reverend G. Allan Fillman, VF - Saint Maximilian Kolbe Deanery.
Very Reverend Dennis P. Hartigan, VF – Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Deanery.
 Reverend Monsignor Michael G. Hohenbrink, VF - Saint Francis of Assisi  Deanery.
Reverend Monsignor Dennis M. Metzger, VF – Saint Luke Deanery.
Very Reverend John C. Missler, VF – Our Lady of the Lake Deanery.
Very Reverend Francis J. Speier, VF – Saint John Neumann Deanery.
Very Reverend Joseph P. Szybka, VF – Precious Blood of Jesus Deanery.
Very Reverend George E. Wenzinger, VF – Saint George Deanery.

   
The remaining Deans, Very Reverend Daniel E. Borgelt, VF (Our Lady, Queen of Peace Deanery) and Very Reverend David M. Ross, VF (Blessed Junipero Serra Deanery) continue to serve as Deans since their earlier appointments have not expired.

  After their Ordination to the Diaconate on September 17, 2011 the following men will be appointed to these parishes:

Gerald E. Galernik to All Saints Parish,Rossford.
Armando Gonzalez to Saint Michael the Archangel Parish, Findlay.
Jon A. Gottron to Saint Augustine Parish, Napoleon.
Donald W. Inkrott to Saint John the Baptist Parish, Glandorf.
Edward R. Maher to Saint Thomas More Parish, Bowling Green.
John R. Reef to Saint Peter Parish, Mansfield.
Melvin J. Shell to Saint Joseph Parish, Fremont.
John F. Walter to Saints Patrick and Andrew Parish, Bascom.
