Toledo – June 7 – The Diocese of Toledo announced today that Rodney O. Schuster will become the new Secretariat leader for Catholic Charities beginning June 14. Schuster is currently the Vice President of Development for the Cherry Street Mission in Toledo.

A member of Saint Joseph Parish in Maumee, Schuster describes his position with Catholic Charities as an opportunity to truly serve others. “I am excited to have this opportunity to serve God in my Catholic faith with an organization that helps many, many people and is so deeply respected and distinguished in its service.”

Schuster earned his MBA at the Keller Graduate School of Management and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where he earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in Mass Communications/Journalism.  He is a member of the Rotary Club of Toledo and Association of Fundraising Professionals, and serves on the Board of Directors of Neighborhood Properties, Inc., and Ohio Right to Life.
