LENTEN LECTURE SERIES AT BLESSED SACRAMENT

March 17, 2009 – Toledo, OH – Blessed Sacrament Parish will host a Lenten lecture series for the community titled “Sin, Lent, and Reconciliation.”  The series will take place over the course of three Wednesdays and asks participants to identify subjects that cry out for forgiveness, healing, and reconciliation. Each evening begins with Bread and Soup at 6pm, followed by the Service at 7pm in the Neighborhood Center Kelly Room. Blessed Sacrament Parish is located at 4227 Bellevue Road, Toledo, OH 43613.

The schedule of the series is as follows:

Wednesday, March 18th   
Lois Welch, President of Heartbeat
Subject: The Abolition of Abortion and the Healing of Its Wounds

Wednesday, March 25th
Kevin Werner, Director of Ohioans against Capital Punishment
Subject: The Abolition of Capital Punishment

Wednesday, April 1st
Andy Devine, legendary Juvenile Court Judge
Subject: Restoration of the Family
