The Diocesan Office of Liturgical Music serves as a resource for parish musicians throughout the Diocese of Toledo. The office responds to individual telephone or e-mail inquiries from parishes in the area of liturgical music. In collaboration with the Diocesan Music Committee the office also presents workshops on topics of interest for the development and ongoing formation of parish musicians. The website also contains links to liturgical music resources for the parish musician.

The Office of Liturgical Music works in collaboration with the Office of Divine Worship in planning and executing music for all Diocesan Liturgies at the Cathedral.

The cathedral parish music ministry enables the assembly to contribute the active participation in song that rightly belongs to it. The cathedral choir and cantors support the singing of the faithful and lift hearts and minds through the treasury of sacred choral music.

The cathedral appreciates the evangelizing role of outreach to the greater community through musical offerings in non-liturgical settings, particularly the Cathedral Concert Series.

Throughout the year many people are welcomed to the cathedral for musical events, which are frequently their first encounter with the cathedral or with the Catholic Church.
