DIOCESE OF TOLEDO ANNOUNCES PERSONNEL APPOINTMENTS
June 24, 2008 – Toledo, Ohio - The Most Reverend Leonard Paul Blair, Bishop of the Diocese of Toledo announces the following personnel appointments in the diocese effective July 1, 2008 unless otherwise noted: • Deacon Steven Drennan has been appointed as a Deacon of Divine Mercy Parish in Paulding. Deacon Drennan is currently a Deacon at Saint Joseph Parish in Paulding. • Reverend Adam Hertzfeld has been appointed as the Director of Vocations of the Diocese of Toledo, he will direct the diocesan Office of Vocations: Priesthood and Consecrated Life. He returns to Toledo from Rome, Italy where he has been in studies the last three years. He is receiving a Doctorate in Sacred Theology. • Reverend Gerald E. Knueven has been granted Senior Priest Status. Father Knueven currently serves as a Catholic Hospital Chaplain. • Reverend Richard E. Notter has been granted Senior Priest Status. He is the Pastor of Saints Peter and Paul Parish in Toledo. • Reverend Tommy Rodrigues has been appointed as the Pastor of Saint Bernard Parish in New Washington. Fr. Rodrigues is currently the Associate Pastor at Christ the King Parish in Toledo.

The diocese includes Allen, Crawford, Defiance, Erie, Fulton, Hancock, Henry, Huron, Lucas, Ottawa, Paulding, Putnam, Richland, Sandusky, Seneca, Van Wert, Williams, Wood and Wyandot counties.
