DIOCESE OF TOLEDO ANNOUNCES PERSONNEL APPOINTMENTS

April 28, 2008 – Toledo, Ohio - The Most Reverend Leonard Paul Blair, Bishop of the Diocese of Toledo announces the following personnel appointments in the diocese effective July 1, 2008:

  • Reverend Michael O. Brown appointed to the office of Pastor of Saint Clement Parish in Toledo. Father Brown is currently the Pastor of Christ the King Parish in Toledo

  • Sister Lucille Kime, SND, appointed to Pastoral Leader of Mother of Sorrows Parish in Put-In-Bay, and St. Michael’s Parish, Kelleys Island.

  • Reverend Keith Stripe, appointed to the office of Pastor St. Joseph Parish in Maumee. Father Stripe is currently the Pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish in Bellevue.


  • The Diocese of Toledo, established April 15, 1910 encompasses 8222 square miles in a mixture of urban and rural areas that spans 19 counties across Northwest Ohio, serving 306,532 Catholics. The diocese includes Allen, Crawford, Defiance, Erie, Fulton, Hancock, Henry, Huron, Lucas, Ottawa, Paulding, Putnam, Richland, Sandusky, Seneca, Van Wert, Williams, Wood and Wyandot counties.
