DIOCESE OF TOLEDO ANNOUNCES PERSONNEL APPOINTMENTS

April 10, 2008 – Toledo, Ohio - The Most Reverend Leonard Paul Blair, Bishop of the Diocese of Toledo announces the following personnel appointments in the diocese effective July 1, 2008:

• Reverend Stephen Majoros, granted Senior Priest Status; Father Majoros is currently Pastor, Saint Joseph Parish, Toledo.

• Very Reverend Dennis M. Metzger, VF, appointed to the office of Pastor of Saint Joseph Parish in Sylvania, Ohio. Father Metzger is currently the Pastor of Holy Trinity Parish in Swanton, Ohio.

• Reverend Alfons Wilbard Minja, C.P.P.S., Upon the recommendation of the Very Reverend Angelo P. Anthony, C.P.P.S., Provincial Director of the Missionaries of the Precious Blood, appointed to the office of Parochial Vicar of Saints Peter and Paul Parish in Ottawa, Ohio.

• Reverend David A. Reinhart, appointed to the office of Pastor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Bono, in addition to his responsibilities as President of Cardinal Stritch High School.

• Reverend William J. Rose, appointed to the office of Pastor of Christ the King Parish in Toledo. Father Rose is currently the Pastor of Saint Rose Parish and Saint John the Evangelist parishes in Lima, Ohio.

Effective August 1, 2008:

• Reverend Matthew Jozefiak, C.P.P.S., Upon the recommendation of the Very Reverend Angelo P. Anthony, C.P.P.S., Provincial Director of the Missionaries of the Precious Blood, appointed to the office of Pastor of Saints Peter and Paul Parish in Ottawa, Ohio.

The diocese includes Allen, Crawford, Defiance, Erie, Fulton, Hancock, Henry, Huron, Lucas, Ottawa, Paulding, Putnam, Richland, Sandusky, Seneca, Van Wert, Williams, Wood and Wyandot counties.
