Discovering Your Gifts

You are unique. There is not, never was and never will be another person in the world exactly like you. The very fact that our good and gracious God has seen fit to call you into existence is proof of your giftedness. You are a reflection of God, revealing something of the infinitely fascinating Creator. Your giftedness includes your talents and abilities, interests, experiences, preferences and passions for serving in the world.

Your gifts are meant for you to enjoy, but your individual gifts are also a part of the abundance of gifts given to our faith community. These gifts are given to you so that you might serve and minister to others as you help in building up the reign of God at _________________________ Parish. When you share your gifts, you find the hoy that comes from using them as they were intended to be used.

This gift inventory has three purposes:
• to help you identify your gifts
• to help our faith community recognize and celebrate the abundance of our gifts
• to gather information so that we can assist you in your awareness of ministry opportunities in  our parish and community that match your own gifts
