As part of their stewardship ministries, St. Martin's is working towards becoming a strengths-based parish. Around thirty parishioners participated in a retreat in early August that helped them assess their "5 signature strengths". Knowing these strengths the parishioners looked at the parish's ministries, calendar, goals and objectives and discussed how they can implement their strengths into the parish life. Every parishioner will be encouraged to take the assessment and at the October Ministry Fair people will be asked to make a commitment of their time and talent based on the strengths they have.
