Mission
The purpose of the Toledo Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting (TDCCS) is to effectively implement the plan of the National Committee on Scouting (NCCS) in the Toledo Diocese. Also, the purpose of the TDCCS is to give guidance, direction, leadership, and vitality in the spiritual phase of Scouting to all Catholics registered in the BSA in the Toledo Diocese and to any Council Catholic Committees on Scouting (CCCS) operating in the Toledo Diocese.  The TDCCS may not issue by-laws, directives, or programs that are contrary to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church or to the NCCS or to the Ordinary of the Diocese of Toledo.

Teens Encounter Christ is a three-day retreat for young people that has been held in Carey, Ohio, for over 34 years. Although each TEC is unique, the theme of the weekend is a journey. Yes, we journey through the Pascal Mystery – Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again!
