DIOCESE OF TOLEDO ANNOUNCES PERSONNEL APPOINTMENTS


July 05, 2007 – Toledo, Ohio - The Most Reverend Leonard Paul Blair, Bishop of the Diocese of Toledo announces the following personnel appointments in the diocese:

Father David Nuss has decided not to accept the Pastorate of Saint Rose of Lima Parish in Perrysburg for personal reasons.

Father Marvin Borger has been appointed as the Pastor of Saint Rose of Lima Parish, Perrysburg, effective immediately.

Father Ronald Schock has been appointed as part-time Associate Pastor of Saint Rose of Lima Parish, Perrysburg in addition to his duties as Vocation Director of the Diocese of Toledo.

The Diocese of Toledo, established April 15, 1910 encompasses 8222 square miles in a mixture of urban and rural areas that spans 19 counties across Northwest Ohio, serving 306,000 Catholics. The diocese includes Allen, Crawford, Defiance, Erie, Fulton, Hancock, Henry, Huron, Lucas, Ottawa, Paulding, Putnam, Richland, Sandusky, Seneca, Van Wert, Williams, Wood and Wyandot counties.
