Blessed Sacrament Parish and School To Break Ground on New Facility Print E-mail

BLESSED SACRAMENT PARISH AND SCHOOL TO BREAK GROUND ON NEW MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR FACILITY


March 15 – Toledo, OH – On Saturday, March 17th at 2:30 p.m. Blessed Sacrament will break ground on a new facility that will house a neighborhood center, gym, multipurpose conference room, six middle school rooms including computer and science centers and an office complex. Blessed Sacrament, located at 4227 Bellevue Road Toledo, 43613, has been planning this project for the past seven years. Saturday’s ground breaking marks the end of the first phase of the fundraising efforts to complete the structure with parishioners having raised $2.5 million dollars. An additional $1.75 million will be raised throughout the coming year to complete the complex’s interior.
    
The Most Reverend Leonard P. Blair, Bishop of Toledo, and The Very Reverend Michael R. Billian, Episcopal Vicar and Moderator of the Curia will attend the ceremony and celebrate Mass afterwards at 4 p.m. The Blessed Sacrament community will offer a Jiggs Dinner from 5-8 p.m. in the school gym.

Blessed Sacrament will also host one of the three free financial workshops offered to Toledo area parents in the coming week to help parents learn how to save for and afford Catholic education. The workshop at Blessed Sacrament will take place on Wednesday, March 21st from 7-8:30 p.m. Both of the remaining workshops will be conducted from 7-8:30 p.m. at the following locations:

Tuesday, March 20th – St. Joseph, Sylvania – 5411 Main Street, Sylvania, OH 43560
Thursday, March 22nd – Central Catholic High School – 2550 Cherry Street, Toledo, OH 43608
