YYACMEnd of the Year TOT for the Diocese!
Mark your calendars now for an awesome adventure aboard the Sandpiper on July 23rd, 2007, for a Diocesan-wide Theology on Tap!  The evening will begin at 7:30 PM with registration, and we will step aboard the Sandpiper boat and cruise the Maumee River from 8:00 - 10:00 PM.  While relaxing aboard ship, we will hear a presentation from Mark Schissler, Director of Human Resources for the Diocese of Toledo, who will be speaking to us about "Christ in Corporate America???  YOU BET YA!!!".  We will provide hors d'oeuvres and beverages.  Cost is $15/each for this event, and pre-registration is a must!  Reserve your spot now!  More information will be coming out soon!
 
Night of Worship - College students and young adults
The Youth, Young Adult and Campus Ministry office in conjunction with St. Thomas More University Parish will be sponsoring Night of Worship every Monday evening from June 11 - August 13, 2007.  The evenings will start at 7:00 PM with Mass and Adoration, and continue with a Social from 8:15 - 9:30 PM.   This is open to all young adults and college students!  They will be held at St. Thomas More University Parish, 425 Thurstin Avenue, Bowling Green, OH.  What a great way to spend a few hours each week throughout the summer!!
 
June 12th, 2007 - Cedar Point Day
This is a day for youth, young adults, families...really, EVERYONE!  Come to Cedar Point on June 12th, go to Booths 12 or 13, and buy discounted tickets for your group!  Ticket prices:  Jr Tickets are $12 and all others are $30!  This is a discount of $12 per ticket, just for buying from our booth!  We will also be selling cups for $5.  These cups can be used all day throughout the park for free refills on soda (What a great deal!!!)

June 30-July 8, 2007 - Eagle Eye Institute – Carey, OH
The Eagle Eye Institute is co-sponsored by our office and the Community of St. John.  This 8-day retreat is for high school age youth age 16-graduating seniors who are looking to go deeper in their faith.  This years theme:  My Friends and My God - Help or Hindrance?  The cost for the week is $260 if registered before May 1.  For more information on this event, go to www.soaringforwisdom.com/carey.html

July 13-15, 2007 - 40th Annual Youth Conference – Bluffton University
The Youth Conference will again be held at Bluffton University and the cost for the entire weekend is $110!  This includes all sessions, all meals, a t-shirt and many other surprises!  The Keynote Presenter is Steve Angrisano and Bishop Blair will be joining us on Sunday for awards and Closing Mass!  Information Packets were sent to each parish, and are available on-line at www.toledodiocese.org

August 6, 2007 - Leadership Institute - Maumee Bay State Park
Mike Carotta will be spending the day with Youth Ministers and Catechetical Leaders discussing youth of today and spirituality.  Mike has worked with adolescents and their spiritual growth in educational, pastoral, and clinical settings for more than 25 years.  This will be a great day to network with others who work with youth in the Diocese!  More details will be coming soon!

August 18, 2007 - Youth Ministry Conference – St. Michael Parish, Findlay
This Conference is for anyone who ministers to youth...including Youth Ministers, Parish Catechists, Pastors, Pastoral Associates, Scout Leaders, Catechetical Leaders, Teachers, ect!  The day will include keynote presentations by nationally known speaker Mike Patin, who was a keynoter at the last National Conference on Catholic Youth Ministry (NCCYM) in Las Vegas, invigorating round table discussions, prayer and a chance to network with other peer ministers.  Registration materials will be available soon for this great opportunity!

August 19, 2007 – Mudhens Catholic Youth Day at the Park!
Come and spend the day with the Mudhens on August 19th!  The day will include lots of fun, presentations from past/present players, Muddy the Mudhen, a great game against Columbus, fireworks...and I hear the even SpongeBob SquarePants will be there!  This event is for youth, young adults and families of all ages!  More information will be coming soon
