DIOCESE OF TOLEDO ANNOUNCES PERSONNEL APPOINTMENTS
November 27, 2006 – Toledo, Ohio - The Most Reverend Leonard Paul Blair, Bishop of the Diocese of Toledo announces the following personnel appointments in the diocese effective January 2, 2007 through June 30, 2007.
• Reverend Christopher Bazar has been appointed Parochial Vicar (Associate Pastor) of Saint Joan of Arc Parish, Toledo. Father Bazar currently serves as Parochial Vicar of Christ the King Parish, Toledo.
• Reverend Tommy Rodrigues has been appointed Parochial Vicar (Associate Pastor) of Christ the King Parish, Toledo. Father Rodrigues currently serves as the Chaplain of the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky.
The Diocese of Toledo, established April 15, 1910 encompasses 8222 square miles in a mixture of urban and rural areas that spans 19 counties across Northwest Ohio, serving 306,000 Catholics. The diocese includes Allen, Crawford, Defiance, Erie, Fulton, Hancock, Henry, Huron, Lucas, Ottawa, Paulding, Putnam, Richland, Sandusky, Seneca, Van Wert, Williams, Wood and Wyandot counties.
