May 18, 2006 – Toledo, Ohio - The Most Reverend Leonard Paul Blair, Bishop of the Diocese of Toledo announces the following personnel appointment in the diocese effective July 1, 2006:

 • Upon the recommendation of the Very Reverend Angelo P. Anthony, C.P.P. S., Provincial Director of the Missionaries of the Precious Blood, Reverend Kenneth Alt, C.P.P.S. has been appointed to the office of Pastor of Saint Michael Parish in Kalida. Father Alt is currently Pastor of the Fort Recovery Cluster of parishes in the Cincinnati diocese.
 • Reverend Krzystof Kardzis has been appointed Pastor of Holy Angels Parish in Sandusky. Father Kardzis is currently Associate Pastor at Saint Patrick of Heatherdowns parish in Toledo.
 • Reverend Douglas Taylor has been appointed Pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes parish in New London and Presybteral Moderator and Parish Chaplain of Saint Mary Parish in Wakeman. Father Taylor is currently the Associate Pastor at Saint Paul the Apostle parish in Norwalk.
 • Reverend Melvin Verhoff has been appointed as Pastor of Saint Join the Evangelist parish in Delphos. He is currently the Parish Chaplain of Saint Thomas More University parish in Bowling Green.
 • Very Reverend Todd Dominique, VF, has been appointed Parochial Vicar of Saint Wendelin parish in Fostoria, Ohio. He is currently the President of Central Catholic High School in Lima and Parish Chaplain of Saint Mary Parish, Bluffton, Ohio.
 • Reverend Joseph A. Weigman has been appointed to the office of Chaplain in a part-time capacity at Sacred Heart Home and to the faculty of Cardinal Stritch High School in Oregon.
 • Reverend Raymond E. Ensman has been granted Senior Priest Status. He is currently the Pastor of Immaculate Conception parish in Port Clinton.
 • Reverend Robert Haas has been grated Senior Priest Status. He is currently the Pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in New London and Parish Chaplain of Saint Mary parish in Wakeman.
 • Reverend Albert B. Ceranowski has been granted Senior Priest Status. He is currently Pastor of Saint Ignatius parish in Oregon.
